Preview of the ARENA:What do you think guys ?

Okey so about the arenas, we see 3 different maps right? Map 1: snowy World Edge style: Map 2: Artillery style Map 3: olympus style (with mirage voyage crashed -we know from the countdown) Can't wait until Monday to see the gameplay!

Copying my thoughts here from the other thread: This new game mode is going to be huge. So many things that we could expect Getting fighting experience is not more restricted to hot dropping in the battle royal, or requires long looting times. Players will be able to spend much more time actually fighting with this mode. That also means that hot dropping may become less common. CRAFTING Crafting weapons and items is really nice. I do like the decision to reset the weapon every round. That means that you'll be more likely to switch and are not bound by earlier decisions. Crafting the tactical and ultimate is also wild. Hopefully, they will not start on cooldown, since the mode seems very fast-paced. Timing the tactical and ultimate to be effective will become challenging. I do hope that players do not leave the match. As with every small gamemode in every game, if 1 player leaves, than the match will be lopsided. They didn't speak about compensation (more credits given) or people filling in. I wonder wether this will be tackled in the future. TEAM COORDINATION If you have a lifeline, that could prove very efficient. Lifeline can call in a care package, meaning that the other players do not have to spend as much credits to buy meds. Also Lifelines tactical does this. Some passives will be much easier to use than others. Fuse will not be able to throw any grenades if you don't buy them. Can your teammates see what weapons you choose? For example to coordinate ammo sharing I fully expect Ash to be the announcer! MAPS It is really good that they make maps specifically for Arenas, allowing them to be very crafty with things like the phase runner. Every new may for the battle royal mode will probably also give a new map to the arena mode! My problem with snipers in the battle royal mode is that you can down someone, but they will just revive behind cover and you'll have no way of killing them off from afar. Now in arenas, if you anyone, it will be a game-changer. Your team will more likely push. Thus, I expect hard-hitting long-range weapons to be more viable. Also, there is no mention of AMMO in the blog. How will they handle this? Will you get a certain amount like in the Winter Express train mode? I think that would be the fairest.

Without an offense, I am really afraid of the leavers in the random match.(3vs3? 4 points win? Cool!!)You know, even in the LTM they will appear, they will join and leave repeatedly...Sorry for being saulty.Maybe I am a little bit tired today. 😢

@Sati_Sati Would be cool if we could solo queue arena though, would be some pretty intense training lol. 😛

They like my idea where you can choose your weapon and all of its attachment (with unlimited ammo), combine with auto regen, auto banner then start fighting !
Note:
1. Looting is RNG and waste of time.
2. Healing also not that fun, keep pushing until one of you die.

Looks you can play solo there, 1 vs 3 vs 3 or 1 vs 2 vs 2 (totally doable when you 3rd party them), unless you got scanned and they know u're alone.

@asukojo Did you ever play Live Fire in TitanFall 2? Really good mode with arena sized maps. If this is as good as that, it will be fun.

@ArchAngeL-PCX I never play Titan fall.
I know GW2 Gnome Bomb, Turf Takeover, it was a lot of fun.
They can easily make Apex for Turf Takeover since we have such a big map. One side attacking and one side defending. Non stop action and a lot of gun fight.
They actuall have a lot similiar concept :
1. Healer : Sun flower - Lifeline.
2. Portal : Engineer-Wraith
3. Machine gun: Peashooter- Rampart
4. Drone: Cacktus - Crypto
5. Bomb: Pea shooter - Fuse
6. Vertical move: Peashooter/Soldier - Horizon and Valk and Octane.
7. Defense : Cacktus mine - Caustic trap/Wattson fence.
Since GW is EA game, this should be easy to adapt. You just need to create flow with virtual wall to make sure they follow the flow and they can change the flow dynamically.
Arena with 3 team is kind of lame when you compare with Turf Takeover.
