Not able to purchase apex credits via steam

Hi, since the new update today (11/5/2024) I was able to purchase apex credits two times, and then suddenly I was not able to purchase any more. I  have the necessary funds in my steam wallet but once I am in game and select the amount of coins, the steam overlay pops up, I hit authorize the payment, the window closes but no purchase has actually gone through. The currencies at the top right cycle through a few times but nothing happens.

I have tried all of the below options and nothing has worked:
-restarting my game

-task manager closing team and apex

-verify integrity of game files for apex

-launching steam and apex as admin

-restarting pc

-choosing different amounts of apex coins

-fully reinstalling the game
