Does anyone know "Rouge Company"?
I've been playing it for a few months now and find it very interesting. Sure, it's not perfect, but it still feels good. It's a mixture of Apex Arena, CS and Rainbow Six.
On that note, I haven't played Apex since the end of Season 17 and will probably uninstall it soon.
I might try out the Finals as Apex is just not doing it for me now. The new Warzone is a few patches away from even being stable but I like the improved player movement (still not as good as Apex though).
The matchmaking needs to be fixed in Apex as for me and a lot of others it's now just totally broken and one of the main reasons players are leaving.
@saurerDropsXXL Played it. Didnt really hit the target for me. Recommend to try Quake Champions as well. Similar ability shooter as Apex but arena / CTF etc. Also you can opt out to play quite good AI bots for some nobrainer shooting.

Watched a little of this Finals thing on Twitch. Laughed half the time... y'all are not serious about this replacing Apex. It's literally wild people even suggest leaving Apex to play this instead.
I don't think it's fair to compare the Finals to Apex. They are both first person shooters with teams of three - comparisons end with that.

Personally I've been using similar linear settings with lower sensitivity. I'm not having much issue tracking players. Good mnk movement players beat me up in both games.
I've been using response curve 7 and slowly lowering my sens to pretty close to 4:3 for some time now. I don't like following trends. I tried out classic for a while and it felt dreadfully sluggish to me, especially ADS. I tried out linear on ALC (response curve 0) and felt like I couldn't hit the side of a barn with hipfire, especially combined with the higher sens I was on. I loved having faster look sense for movement, but hipfire accuracy is pretty darned important. I'm sure I'd get used to either, but I've got plenty of time invested in my current settings and they feel good to me.
One nice thing about the mixed mixtape lobbies is to able to see how I actually compare to MnK players. I'm better than the mediocre ones, and the good ones wreck me. Pretty much the same as facing console players, really.
In fact, I had my doubts at the beginning as to whether I could get used to it. But then it went relatively quickly. And I say that having played 14 seasons of Apex almost every day.
Of course, third-person also means a different style of play because of two important differences: you can look around corners without being spotted by rotating your camera and you can change your shoulder view (i.e. whether you want to look over your left or right shoulder).
However, I was happy to make this change because I have the feeling that the other components of the game are a bit better than in Apex. Most of the time (not always) the matchmaking in pubs is well balanced. The weapons seem to be fairly balanced. I think there are a few cheaters unfortunately (stupidly has the same EAC as Apex), but reporting is really easy (you can also report ANY participant in the round, even if the round is already over). I don't know if my reports will help in the medium term, but as far as I can remember, I didn't see any reported players in the next rounds.
And I find the "Give up" function very helpful to spare my nerves. Of course, it only helps if the majority of team members want to give up.
