Re: BF4 maxing out cpu (100% cpu) lagging game

Dust in a PC could do this I would buy a can of air and blow the dust out of your PC with the PC unplugged just to rule it out.

took out the battery and opened up my laptop there was a barely any pet hair and dust in the case but when I removed the fans and there was a buildup of lint, dust and pet hair and it blew my mind how much was in there. it had mostly accumulated between two blades on each fan. cleaned the fans out really well and put everything back together and ran a game on high video setting and the cpu usage was now down to 20-40% usage. I saw a lot of problems similar to mine with people using AMD gpus and I thought I might have a similar case but the idea that it could just be dust went right over my head. Thank you very much this solved my problem as far as I can tell!
