Weapon Un-Zooms While Holding Zoom

Product: Battlefield 1
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug Updated Windows, now my scope does not stay zoomed in.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? zoom in on your weapon and hold it.
What happens when the bug occurs? I right click to 'hold' and zoom in with my mouse. The game is unplayable because my gun automatically unscopes or refuses to scope in then I press the button. It feels broken ever since I updated Windows.
Please select your region North America
In what game mode did the bug occur? Conquest
AMD or Nvidia Model Number Nvidia GeForce GTX 760
Enter RAM memory size in GB 8

Please help me, the game is unplayable because my weapon will not stay zoomed in. When I stay 100% still it still unzooms, but less frequently. When I tap A or D to strife, it goes in and out.

  • Hey @ST0NED_J0NES Thanks for the report!

It sounds like that settings for holding or click for zoom got changed.

Take a look in settings to see if they changed. A photo below that will show what I mean.

Thank you for the input, but that is not the issue.

When I toggle those two keys, the zoom still sucks. I click it once and it zooms perfectly about 33% of the time. The other 33%, it zooms/unzooms/zooms multiple times before finally staying zoomed in, and the last 33% it just ignores my tap. If I hold it while in the "click" settings, it still acts goofy.

What happens if I reinstall? Does all my Rank settings get cleared?

Hey, @ST0NED_J0NES Thanks for the clarification.  Your Mp stats are saved on our servers so you won't lose them.

What you can do is turn off origin clod data on BF1 and then remove the document folder for Battlefield 1 ( this will remove SP saves and settings).
