Your GPU does not support DX11

In the past few days I've played Wolfenstein II, Destiny 2, Rainbow 6: Siege, and Witcher 3, and even BF1 with no issues. Every other game still works fine, I went through and tested them, Battlefield just suddenly refused to work for me after 230 hours. Drivers are all updated. Running on 64 bit Windows 10.

PC Specs:

- i5-6402P 2.8 GHz

- RX 480

- 8 GB RAM

Did you do anything such as a windows update or GPU driver update right before this started happening? Have you tried running Origin as an admin (right click icon on desktop select "run as administrator") and the running a repair on BF1? Which OS are you running?

Also your CPU is below the minimum required to run BF1 and your RAM is at the minimum so even with a solid GPU you have some bottleneck issues that may occur outside of the DX issue you're posting about.

Hey, im also getting the exact same error on the same gpu.

i5 3570K @ 4.1GHz

RX 480

8GB RAM

Win10

I kept getting an error saying failed to initialise gpu when trying to launch Destiny 2, error code chive. I reinstalled latest amd driver with latest DDU version.

It fixes the problem and i can play. i turn pc off. come back on next day. same error. i do the same fix, again works until i turn pc off and come back on the next day.

when i try open radeon settings i get this error

I then tried going on battlefield 1 and got this error 

also tried fortnite battle royale and got this error 

i tried updating direct x but i get a message along the lines of i have latest or newer version of direct x installed.

Not sure what else to do.
