my windows screen saver stops working
and I have to re-activate it from settings

Do you have any other Origin games and do they have the same effect? I suspect the issue is related to the Origin overlay, you can try disabling it.
Click Origin in the top left of the Origin app then Application Settings. In the next page click More then Origin in game, and click the switch to Off.
At this point you can try running the game again and see if the issue re-occurs.
