Re: Bring back the option to have the classic headshot 'DING'

@emerson1975Actually there is a reason that that particular 'ding' was invented in the first place, it is designed to give the user an instant sense of reward, notice how the classic 'ding' sounds a bit like a casino machine hitting a win? If you make your players start to crave that sound and sense of reward then they will keep coming back to the game because they are psychologically addicted to it on a very small level. And keeping the players coming back should be a big priority right now because the game clearly has issue that will put some people off. Game designers spend a lot of time and effort figuring out how to get a user addicted to the game, and that simple 'ding' is what has kept tons of players and YouTubers revisiting BF1 and moving forward you'll see a lot of YT videos where people go back to BFV as well because 'the sniping felt great'.

The current headshot sound in 2042 also has a slight cash reward type sound and that's no accident. It would be extremely simple to just add in the option for users to switch between the old classic ding and the new crappy one as it's literally just a sound file and a menu entry.
