After spending nights after nights trying to fix the Crash/reboot on startup on BF2042 and trying all possible suggestion and fixes... I'm about to give up!Question --> IS anyone else having the same crash/reboot experience with the Ryzen 5000 series? I my self have a Ryzen 5600XAsus ROG Strix B550-FRTX 307032G Ram1TB SSDWin 10 up to date(YES! +all drivers are up to date.)/edit PSU 750WNot a single return to any of my support tickets... +5 (guess EA is busy.. Sorry I don't care...do your job)No error reports produced by EA/BF 2042Only thing I can see is my logfile and that indicates the CPU as the culprit.Looking in diverse forums (reddit etc.) it seems to be a AMD Ryzen related issue.Other high end FPS/games run without any trouble!/desperatos!/edit 041221 DxDiag attach

Hey, @OccultMonkey can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 2042 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

Tried and it still crashed/rebooted at load up. Dxdiag attached to the first post.

How's temps looking while playing and have you done any bios Updates (only touch bios if you know what you are doing)? @OccultMonkey

Still no solution to this! this has to be the + 10 contact with the EA support on just one of my tickets... Support keeps looping in circles with advice iv'e been through many times.

@OccultMonkey Hi I have a Ryzen 5900X, and I couldn't play without my PC hard rebooting when I tried to start up.
Today I managed to fix it, So I had all the drivers installed, even the website from AMD and ASUS told me all drivers were up to date, there was nothing I could update.
Except when I dug deeper, I found out that my BIOS build was severely outdated (the bios build was way older than my MBO, I have an ASUS Hero VIII), so I downloaded the newest BIOS build, went into BIOS itself and updated it in EZ mode.
Reinstalled everything and today I was able to play for a few hours non stop without crashes.

@OccultMonkey I have same CPU and MB. No problem at all. Just launch and play. All drivers updated. CPU overclocked, MEM overclocked. Usually reboot caused by wrong voltage on MB. Did u intalled latest bios?
