Summarize your bug I cannot sprint with an Xbox one controller connected to my PC. It has nothing to do with binds, I have checked this by unbinding all controller binds and keyboard binds. I can't sprint and I can't reverse in cars. This is from what I can tell an issue with mapping, however all available information hasn't helped. This wasn't an issue in early 2022, so obviously an update to the game has done this. Every other game I have works with my controller, including other EA games (like Apex) and therefore it is not due to my controller.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It is likely to occur if you have a controller connected to a PC. It does not matter (from what I can tell) how the controller is connected. Wired and wireless connections wont work.
What happens when the bug occurs? Immediately, from starting the game, you can't sprint. Changing the binds will not help. Unplugging your keyboard and mouse will not help. Directly wiring the controller to the PC will not help. My controller has been the only thing plugged into my PC, still doesn't work. I have tried the various overlay fixes, including the ones involving steam. That did not help.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to run, I should be able to reverse.
This is a ridiculous issue from a supposed triple-A title that demanded £50 on launch, particularly considering this is an issue caused by poor programming evidently.
Interestingly I can run when I am playing as certain operators and I am deploying their gadget. This makes me think it is a binding issue, however all attempts I have made did not change anything. This includes unbinding inputs from my keyboard and mouse, rebinding buttons and sticks on my controller and reverting the inputs to defaults and all other options in-game. I even deleted the settings file with no success.
