Re: How to edit an existing Portal mode ?

@alexkickstand

It's in the same menu where you change the name of an Experience. The same menu where it comes up when you create a new one.

It's the icon that looks like a file folder with a gear or an asterisk if I remember correctly. Once you open that, there are 3 dots at the bottom left of that popup that you click. It will bring up an option to delete, duplicate, etc.

....just looked at your attached image. That's the file folder icon I was speaking of that you can view on the Portal website.

    @Kean_1111nope with this dots you can only report this expierence

    Ok, apparently when you access a Portal Experience using the code, you can't do anything with that Experience other than to play it.  This is what you use when you only want to share your Experiences but don't want others to access the settings, copy it, etc.

    What you'll need to do is get the originator to share the URL of when they access the Experience. With this you should be able to have access to the Experience and then be able to Duplicate it through the normal process.

  • @Kean_1111 I have tested this with a link from creative forum not with a code

    can't find a point on the web page to insert the code anyway

    ....you need to copy and paste the code into the address bar of your browser.

    ....so did this solution work for you folks?

    @Kean_1111nope not working for me only a 404

    Do you have the address so I can try to see if I can figure it out?  I can't seem to find any examples online.  Apparently, not many make there creations public for folks to copy and edit.

    This is how you're supposed to be able to do it though.  .....by using the URL of the Experience created.

    Yeah, I don't know.  At that point you should be able to tap the 3 dot menu option and select duplicate in order to edit and/or save it as your own.  .....but it doesn't work.  It also has a save button there that is greyed out as well.

    this is the kind of restrictive, broken issues that cause me to walk away and look for another better gaming experience.
