- @EA_Leeuw Awesome! Happy to see this finally get recognized by someone from EA. Thanks for helping us all out with this 🙂
- @EA_Leeuw Hello, I thought it would be important to note that this is happening not with just Focusrite DACs but also other brands. I am using an AVID Mbox and encountering the same issue.
Hi,
same issue here.
Logitech G430 on USB-Port works with EVERY game fine.
Output Sound works fine, if 3,5mm is plugged directly to front headset output. Only if Headset is plugged to USBto3,5 the sound starts crackling -> unplayable.
Hopefully it will be fixed.
Greetings,
Rodeo

Thank you for the update. It is worth noting as you'll see in the replies above mine here... it seems like this issues is with more than just Focusrite interfaces. There have been reports of it on RMEs and M-Audios, and just plain Logitech USB headsets, among others I'm sure.
Please look into this as it may be more widespread, I've seen some posts talking about ASIO drivers, or something else that is common between DAC/audio interface drivers regardless of brand or model.
Hi,
my Problem is fixed.
The USB Controller of my son is disconnected.

Yeah, I have a Steinberg (UR22C) interface and have issues as well. In Windows 11 sound settings, if I route the game audio to my wireless headphones directly, instead of though VoiceMeeter then out to my headphones, like everything else, than I have zero issues. It's definitely some type of ASIO glitch.
There is a new patch in few days but i dont see in the list : "fix audio problems on asio interface and some usb headset device"
We might have to wait more..
@EA_Leeuw if you have any news
edit: after 6.2 update of 05/12 it's still the same.
I just try to set buffersize to 128 and play 5min with no glitch then it crash sound like before. I set to 160 and directly glitchy sound.
I set back to 256 and it works "fine".
Hey there, after the update 6.3 on 30/01/24 :
I set back the buffersize to 128 and i play few game without any glitch of sound.
It seems to work like before the 6.0 update. I feel it is way better.
I have also check with LatencyMon and it's all green and seem to not overprocess.
I use latest driver of Focusrite 3.17. But i think it could also be good for other brand audio interface.
If someone can confirm please? maybe @JD_W0LF ?

I'll have to get back to you. I have updated my Focusrite driver as well but haven't had a chance to test battlefield buffer sizes yet. Give me a couple days and I'll let you know what I find.

Okay I put some time aside to test tonight, I did one full round of 128 CQ with no issues and half a round of Redacted CQ with no issue on buffer size: 128 so far. It's likely solved
Hey, Thank you for your time and for testing @JD_W0LF .
I didn't see any informations about it in the maj update. It took time since october but i hope we never experience this again.
Still testing but really seems solved. I feel the game is more fluid also.
Appreciate if there is some more reviews about it.

Yeah there was no mention of it, but it seems to be solved. I played another couple hours on 128 buffer and had 0 issues with audio. If anyone else is having any Focusrite issues still, check for new drivers as they did drop one recently. Thanks again @SP0000kS for your time and testing as well. ❤️
