Re: Controller Aim in BF 2042 Is the worst I've ever seen in any FPS.

Last time I played on my Xbox One S, I couldn’t hit anyone past point blank range with the M5A3. My aim is usually decent in other games, including past Battlefield titles, but it feels really off in 2042, and it’s almost impossible to hit moving targets on controller too. It feels like my reticle actively resists my input to correct it and I end up shooting just to the sides of my enemy.

@XD-DAWG11It's good to know I'm not the only one having this problem, this game is broken.
  • Prior to 0.41 the aim assist was the worst I'd ever experienced.

0.41 brought it up to par with BFV or at least within 95% of what we had in BFV.

But it seems we've regressed again a bit with 1.0.  I feel like the new animations may have something to do with it.  Aim assist is very inconsistent when trying to line up a shot on someone going through an animation (jumping, ADAD strafing, crouching/proning). The animation speed seems faster than the aim assist speed. Aim assist feels like it's getting confused and shutting off - or worse 'tracking' when not aligned to the target player model.
