Re: How to import draft class to Madden 25 franchise mode

Going to be honest, this is an awful message from EA support. 

EA, you know what the issue is, it is effecting everyone! Console model, and user names are irrelevant. 

Can we please have an update with some significance 

I am not able to select the draft class (in Import local file) that I downloaded and I can only select about ten draft classes in the Downloads Center. And with the search Tool i cant find any Draft classes at all.

I think it's easiest to just address the crux of the issue here. Problem is present on both current generation consoles. I play on PS5.

We know by now that most of the earliest versions of created downloaded content is corrupted; this isn't so much an issue because most of the creators have released new versions. The big issue we are experiencing, at least on PS5, is that your search function is completely broken. You cannot search for draft classes, so you cannot select new versions that work; we can only use the ones that are under "Top Draft Classes" which are mostly corrupted. 

When searching under draft classes it shows rosters. Searching under rosters shows sliders. Etcetera. 

This has been widely confirmed by players in various forums and channels and it can be easily reproduced. 

Also, EA released a statement saying they are aware of importing issues and closed out the paragraph with " DEV NOTE: We do have a workaround for importing your Draft Class with the below steps:" But the paragraph stopped there. There were no "below steps" listed. 

Provide us with the workaround and fix the search function in control center and I imagine that would go a long way to solving the problem. Or return to the old style UI where you show all available draft classes instead of just "Top Draft Classes." Also, a large number of files are named draft class but show up as rosters, and thus do not work. I'm told there were similar issues in CFB25's creation center. 

This should be a priority fix. You have a lot of community members who pour dozens of hours into this work and their time is being undermined by yet another broken feature on release. Draft classes were a nightmare in M24 for the bulk of the release cycle. 

I recognize that you are not the villain here, so I'm not going to berate you like some may. I appreciate you chiming in and hope that we can get some meaningful action on this. I will say, however, that it's poor form to send us this copy and paste template response AFTER your company has put out a statement acknowledging that they are aware of the issue being widespread.

Btw. I put hours into creating my own draft class and when I imported it into a new career, the file (i created myself) was destroyed and all players had the same face and default apparel…

Y'all fumbled this so * hard... how? How do y'all * the loyal 2 decade plus franchise players year after year after year? Do you need game testers so you quit putting out dog *?
