Re: Roughing the kicker/punter

Yeah the update did absolutely nothing. The inside man on the edge is constantly diving at the kicker AFTER the ball is kicked. 

There’s also a ridiculous amount of false start calls after calling hot routes. It’s almost like EA did not thoroughly test gameplay which is weird because that’s such an important part of development. 

This is still happening ALL THE TIME!! Just came searching this out bc it’s happened twice in the first half of the game I’m playing right now and killing me!

Update: it didn’t help. Roughing the punter 75% of the time in dynasty. 

I'm currently averaging 3-4 a game. Makes it almost impossible to play a real game. Absolutely unacceptable!

Update did nothing. I get one roughing the punter a game. It’s insane. Lost a game because of this bs. AI player constantly runs into the punter unless you user him and run straight to the sideline. 

Not fixed.  Does anything else need to be said.  Even on safe man it still roughs on FCS teams...

The game is still having roughing the kicker/punter penalty way too much. In my online dynasty I’m in week 8. Multiple games I have lost due to these penalties happening on big plays. It continues to happen multiple times a game and in almost every game. Please fix

. i've patched the game immediately upon the updates release and it was just as bad... Funny part is that it REALLY only happens to me when i'm in punt receive > return left or right.  If i try to block the punt i dont even get close ...

Let's also take the time to enjoy just how LITTLE the play on the field has to do with actual penalites that are called in this game... I swear the holding flags are flying as soon as the ball is hiked with no relation to actual position of the players

The latest update did nothing. Still happens multiple times, every game. I hate to be the guy who turns off flags or adjusts sliders, but this is ridiculous. 😑

This still happens to me multiple times a game. I’ve started playing punt safe every punt and again today I got another roughing in a playoff game that cost me the game. 

It is only ever called on me not the CPU team. They can destroy my punter and nothing is called. It is very frustrating. 

If it is helpful I am playing a couch dynasty on PS5 on all-American.  My wife is playing on Freshman and it never happens. I don’t recall it happening when I played on varsity. Maybe it is just the all-American difficulty?

Still having a ton of roughing the kicker/punter. Very frustrating when you have the other team at 4th and 27 on there on 5 and you don’t even call punt block and the computer roughs the punter. Fix this.

And on the topic of too many penalties, too often you have a big play called back for holding.

EA have you ever once cared you’ve said you fixed the roughing the kicker you still haven’t it happens anytime the other team needs a touchdown. I’ve gotten 3 roughing the kickers in a row within the last 2 weeks in 2 separate games. I doubt you will fix it. I doubt you will release a good game ever again. You purposely don’t release a good game because you think once you release a good game no one will buy the next one. But ultimately you’ve killed your fan base and use the fact that you have a licensing agreement to abuse the gamers. Forcing them to hope that you’ll release a game that is actually solid. You need competition because without it you will continue to release unpolished games and never have to push yourself to create truly great games because you know you don’t have to. Also watch some Offensive lineman play, you really need to learn how blocking works.
