Everything is the complete same as they live with me and we use same monitor and the resolutions are the same in game and in windows. I mentioned before even with 0 attachments or the same attachments the problem still persists. I have also noticed another problem today since we both tried the thermal scope that my thermal scope is grainy and his is very clear to see enemies so i wonder if the two are linked?
- UP_LordPlumber2 years agoSeasoned Ace@Zelus71 We can't help before seeing screenshots.
I never used shotguns because the crosshair was so small, but looking at footage on Youtube, I think all my crosshairs are smaller.
I am playing on 1080p, don't use DLSS and with an FOV of 82. I tried changing most settings, bot nothing seems to help.
Changing the FOV to 50 makes the crosshair a little bit bigger but not by much.

Honestly, I would love to have a smaller crosshair because it doesn't cover everything and makes it easier to see the target. That said it seem weird that some have this issue while others don't.
- ATFGunr2 years agoLegend@AlphaNUSS In those screenshots, are you standing still? I’m sure you’ve noticed that when you’re moving the sights get smaller and if you’re still they are large? There’s a lot of that in the game. If you think it’s only you with this problem, I suggest you put a bug report in here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/battlefield-2042-bug-reports-en
It barley changes while moving. Watching more stuff on Youtube, I think for everything except shotguns my smaller crosshair is preferable, so I am not sure if I even want it fixed :D
Weird that I never noticed it, since it has been like that since launch.

@AlphaNUSSSo I've tried re-creating that screenshot on Redacted as close as possible. But I'm playing on a totally different resolution/aspect ratio. Its 3840x1600p 21:9 vs standard 1080p 16:9. Same "FOV".
Here are the screenshots side by side. It's hard to tell really. My does appear to look "bigger" judging by the area circle takes, but it can be anything from aspect ratio to actual resolution shrinking things that are further away.
