Your exclusive pre-order items should available after you redeemed the code on your in your gamebox including content-card. You didn't get the items from the start from the game, after redeeming the code the items are available at your first visit of a bench and armor station.
If there was not code in your gamebox, you need to get in contact with amazon as your retailer and ask for a replacement.
