Re: Is it possible to enable console on DA2?

@Thanarel Hey, I just tested using the steps over at the wiki and they worked fine for me in Origin.

I added " -enabledeveloperconsole" to the game properties (note the space before the -enable), and edited the ini line for

OpenConsole_1=Keyboard::Button_GRAVE

I changed the OpenConsole to 1 not 0, and left the keybind as default. It's the button above Tab/below Esc, though you should be able to bind it as you like.

It's also worth noting that the commands are invisible, but you should be able to tell the console is active because regular keybinds will stop working.

I'm sure you're aware of it but I'll link the fan wiki page for anyone else who is having issues trying to set up the console in the game.

Thanks.

    I managed to "fix" it somehow. It seems I had to add the "disable Origin in game for this game" for it to work. Not sure why? Sorry if it was something silly and obvious, but since I didn't see it mentioned before, I didn't think it affected it. It works now, after doing that 🙂
    And yes, I'm aware that I can't see what I type in the console ingame, but I had tested before and the console wasn't working at all. I have followed every instruction and was still having problems with it. Thankfully it works now ^^

    Thanks anyways, David! I hope this also helps anyone who may have the same issue. The steps given DO work, but in my case I had to tick on the "disable Origin ingame" at the DA2 game properties line in Origin client too!
