Re: xbox 360 disc is unreadable

I'm going to the store to see if they can replace my copy of the game, although I'm not hopeful at all.
As you said, if it happened to be a faulty disk I don't really think it would be that frequent...

  • Ok fingers crossed for you guys! I recently spoke with someone from EA who said the issue I have is a reoccurring issue that they know of and are trying to fix. If it's not the disk then hopefully they find a solution soon. I will keep you posted with this as well if anything comes up

I've spoken with an EA employee through chat today but he knew nothing of the problem and thinks it's due to disk issues (but I'm from Italy so I know Italian employees just want to end the conversation as quickly as possible... lol)
Tomorrow I'm going to replace my copy of the game since today they were all sold out at my local gamestop... hoping it's still a disk issue and the message has nothing to do with my console :l

Thank you guys.  It's nice to know other people have the same issues, even though having that issue is the worst.  Here's hoping it's just a faulty disc, because that'd be easier than waiting, but I'll check in tomorrow night with my full results in playing new disc.  I tested my console by playing DA2 for an hour.  No crashes, runs as good as it always did, so I'm fairly certain it's a problem with DA:I alone.  It's either a thing requiring a patch, or it's a disc thing.  Ugh.  Frustrating, though.  I spent $70 on it, and I love the 20 hours I got to put in with all of my heart.

I've played 2+ hours of both Origins and 2 tonight and still no crashes and no bugs at all, so I hope it is a faulty disk problem

I got a second copy and it did the exact same thing, my daughter has the  game for her 360 and is not having  this issue, I put her disc in my xbox and it did the same thing, I have plenty of memory so I am thinkgn it is based on which XboX 360 you have because i have a slightly older one than her. But I would still like a fix for this as I spent plenty of money on this game and would like to play it

SO I spent a bit of time on the phone with an EA emloyee last week who told me they were not aware of this issue ( even though I had seen several people already say they were) They had me try several things, clear cache which I already did, delete profile then re download it. I mentioned my play disc worked in another xbox so they were saying they thought it was a bad save spot, started new character different profile, same problem. Never did resolve through them. Then i realized I never uninstalled from my first disc from my first copy ( exchanged for a new copy)  I have not had an issue  since,( 12 hours of play time now) so the issue seems to have been with my first copy of my installation disc , not the play disc.
