Re: Cullen Romance - Male Inquisitioner

Well, I applied Bi Cullen mod and had my romance between male Inq. and Cullen. Even married him in Trespasser)) It only bugged me a little to be addressed as sister-in-law and wife, what really bugs me is that I can't make it a world state in Keep - Cullen WAS supposed to be a bi character. I liked the cameos from DA 1&2 and that they reflected my gay lovers and so I REALLY want to see a right cameo in the next DA. Last I played as a female was when Morrowind came out.... and it really bugs me that in Keep I have to be a female to keep my love with Cullen and that it means that in the next cameo the Inquisitor would be female - that's just wrong. I was bummed when in Hawke cameo I couldn't just import the face from the game and he looked all wrong even though I tried to make him look right. It would be worse to have a cameo either with female Inquisitor or without Cullen's love(((

Even though I would play again from the start these choices would never change - my character would be male and my love interest would be Cullen because, firstly, even though it would be a completely different walkthrough it would feel like cheating to choose another and I'm just not made that way. Secondly, I really like romance arc with Cullen so why would I try another? Thirdly, I like Dorian and Bull together too much to mess it up with flirting with either of them and that leaves me with no partner other than Cullen (again - he was supposed to be bi and I can't un-know that fact).

Bioware, please please please make it possible to pair Cullen with male Inquisitor in Keep. I would be forever grateful)))

  • The Keep reflects only "canon" options.  So unless they go back and institute an official "Gay Cullen" track, that'll never be possible in the Keep.

As for the likelihood that BioWare will ever do that, (given that exactly ZERO resources have been devoted to DAI since Patch 11 was released in Oct 2015) I'd rate the chances somewhere between "infinitesimal" and "totally non-existent".

BTW: My female Morrimancer has a similar problem with the available choices in the Keep for DAO.  I have to select a generic male Warden and then tailor the Tapestry by-hand to match "what really happened."  😞
