Finally found the solution!
It's very simple.
Add the game to steam and launch it from there. (go the games, add a non-steam game to library)
Everything works fine afterwards, if it helped you let me know!

this is my only option since fifa 23, or my gamepad wouldn't work. Now this option is gone, it seems.
Every year I pay again for mostly the same program and every year I have to search forums longer to circumvent all the bugs your store/launcher causes.
Enough is enough, I'm closing this money tap after 25+ years. I'll skip for your yearly broken paid update and just hope I can still play one of my stable versions from your app.
Im having the same issue i believe.
When i launch FC24 from steam a EA window opens saying preparing game after which the EA anti cheat comes up, loads fully and then closes. After this a window comes up saying FC24 which is just black (after 2 seconds the name at the top of the window goes blank which is strange) and then the window closes and EA app shows again.
I have tried every solution i found online and went as far as to even factory reset my PC and reinstall windows from 0.
If anyone finds a solution please dm me on discord at 9avian

i buy the game on steam and i have ea app as well. please somebody find the solution? i try everything i see on youtube and forums but nothing yet, if you know please reply me
