Re: EAFC25 is genuinely the worst FIFA game ever on release

The game has a lot of input errors and doesn’t respond well. The player controls are really bad; it feels like you’re playing on 30 FPS, not 60 FPS—there’s lag and heaviness that doesn’t feel right. You can’t do skill moves quickly and smoothly. It feels like you have to stop for a moment before doing a skill move so the game can understand you’re trying to do it. If you’re fast, there’s no response.

The game is still slowing down the player’s movement, making it impossible to run or move freely, even after the update. I don’t get why the game doesn’t just let players move naturally, whether they’re defenders or attackers. Why slow down attackers just to make it easier for defenders to take the ball?

It’s super frustrating because as soon as you get the ball, you can’t move properly. It feels like something’s holding your player back from running. You can’t speed up or dribble quickly at all.

And in the second video, right after I intercepted the ball and tried to start a quick counter-attack, the game slowed me down again, while the defender could move freely and take it back!

Also, notice how my player is just walking slowly instead of running, even though I’m holding the sprint button (R1):

This game is still a piece of trash even after update...do they even give these feedback to the dev team? 

Tout est beaucoup plus lent à cose des filtres pour que l'algorithme prend les décisions. Oui, il te bloque carrément après que tu fais un mouvais dribble ou il attend beaucoup de temps avant que tu tire vers le but comme si le joueur fait exprès pour attendre le défenseur adverse d'intervenir. Etc, etc.

Tant que ils vont pas annulé le filtre A.I rien vas plus marché comme avant. On va dire que c'est quelque chose de nouveau. Après il faut aimé pour souffrir autant. 

C'est grave mais tu trouves la même chose dans toutes les jeux qui fonctionne avec des pack à acheté. C'est pour les nuls qui vont croire que c'est eux qui jouent. 

Après... bœuf. C'est que une autre modalité d'escroquerie. 

Haven't touched the game for a week and after reading most of the posts here, think I'll leave this unrealistic, ping pong, sonic speed arcade fest * alone.

Waste of money.

FC26 will be the first fifa I don't buy in years. The game is appaling, everytime I boot up the game i'm bored within 5 minutes because the gameplay is terrible and you never feel in control.

I know EA like to ban you for this but the game IS SCRIPTED AF, it's the most buggy and laggy game ever.

25 is the worst reviewed fifa in history and it shows, from the new Low iq tactics to the blatant match fixing. If you buy anything in the FUT store then you contribute to the problem and can't complain about the game since you're feeding the issue directly

Agreed. Makes no * sense to play already, and the developers of this game should go back into their mothers' *. eFootball much better albeit trashy.

This forum will be closing in the next few days, and it’s been a pleasure sharing game feedback with you all. I hope to see you in the new forum, as it seems like a great step forward—especially for bug reporting. It looks like the process will be much smoother, and you’ll be able to track the status of your reports easily. Let’s hope it will be better!

I think I'm done with EAFC after this edition, with GTA 6 on the way, why bother? 

* I can't stand the gameplay especially tackle spamming, deflections/rebounds, how inconsistent it feels on a game to game basis. Every action you take feels jammy. The fixes don't fix anything and if they do, they create other problems. 

* The servers are poor & not up to the standards they should be for a triple A game that makes this much money per annum. 

* Even the menu grind has been ruined. Everything is deliberately priced to send you into the store even those 83x10's. Exchanges were a great addition if you wanted to improve your team and of course EA doesn't bring them back. On my no money account, I can't get any low rated fodder. To me this matters because I used to like grinding for cards in between playing. 

* This game, more than ever feels exploitative. Packs were 1 thing but season boosts, triple token packs, paid EVO's with time limits lol, nothing is priced to where it is within reach because..

* It's borderline impossible to make coins off rewards, doing the never ending grind unless you're in the top 1% of the player base. Pack after pack, gives you nothing worthwhile. Like why am I even doing this anymore? 

* This game is built for, made for & marketed towards that top 1% I mentioned. Why even bother playing it anymore? Might aswell save yourself the time, money, effort and just go and watch them play. It's less stress, probably more fun than actually doing the weekly grind required to improve your team. 

* Then there is one of my favorite things "The Fairness Mantra" that companies like this one go on and on about ad nauseum without actually practicing what they preach to give some examples: People who spend either 100's of dollars on a given promo to pack these "special" cards or go through the aforementioned never ending grind or both, to not pack anything, only to wake up one morning & see EA have made a mistake & given people who happen to win the timezone lottery the best card of said promo without any recourse or explanation, compensation. Or the fact they can't bothered to do something about blatant cheating that is people quitting on draws, dashboarding at a red card or when they equalize yet if this game boots you before a ball is kicked it's a insta loss. 

It's really just all these things combined that make this game one of the worst experiences of any video game on the market today. 

Most fc childs in September complained about the game because the game when came out wanted to walk a little with simulation football game but all you complained about why was slow, the  dribbles not win the defenders,we can't win, offsides all the time and bla bla... All of you want an ARCADE game every year.But Fc 25 was very very good game when came out to all of the players want something different something to close to real football.And now EA listening YOU and Totally they destroy the gameplay after the latest updates..I played efootball before I like more the simulation gameplay not arcade and this year the ea make a good try to go to that road .I played fifa Long time a go and when I play this year I liked and I buyed but after period with updates they destroy the game .make it again and again arcade. The last update destroy the defence ,make shoots easy to score, more fast,easy dribbles why why why?pffff we don't have one simulation football game nowadays and I liked a lot this year when first come out fc 25 before the updates and totally the latest update is the worst

I don't know really how do they test the game and release pitch notes. The issues they claim fixed, are still in the game. Do they play the same game?

They destroyed it because they keep listening to players who reach elite div and get the highest rewards every year who don't know * about what should be changed about this game
