see if this post can help you by crin theres a link in there to her blog post about a simport issue or try go to edit town save a copy of the family to the library and start a new game with them they'll still have their skill levels and friendships with each other but'll may mean starting the simporting over again i;m not sure about that part  or move them  to a different town again i think the simporting will be starting of fresh again
