@michelle_renee86 There should be a way, yes, although I'm not totally sure whether the "normal" way works. If it doesn't, let me know, and I'll ask if there's something else you should do instead.
Open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 3 icon, and select Game Properties. Among other things, you should see a 20-character CD key. Try using that key to register on the exchange site; you can copy and paste it to make sure the code is entered correctly.
It didn't work, I tried it multiple times because it wouldn't let me copy/paste, but each time this popped up.
@michelle_renee86 Just checking, but did you try to sign into the Sims 3 site using your Origin account credentials? If you'd bought the game outright through Origin, you'd be able to sign into the site without creating a new account. I think that's not how it works for people who just use Origin Access/EA Play to download the game, but I haven't tried that route.
At any rate, I'll ask if someone knows the answer. It might take a couple days to get a reply though, this being the weekend.
Yeah, I used my Origin/EA play, because I have the subscription.

@puzzlezaddict yes, I signed in through the sims 3 website. I had to it wouldn't let me sign in using the game launcher until after I signed into the website, for some reason.
@EA_Leeloo I already tried that, it didn't work.

Just to confirm - since you own the game through EA Play - when you log into TheSims3.com does it show you own the game in this section on "My Page" (left of the screen, see image below)?
Also, you are logging in with the login details you're using for Origin, right?

Yes I am using my Origin login info and yes I see the image under the my page tab. But it doesn't show I have Late Night or High End Loft Stuff, only Riverview.
