Crashes when moving to a new town

I'm currently in a game living in Bridgeport and i wanted to move my sim to a new town. I have tried moving to Isla Paradiso, Starlight Shore and Hidden Springs. It gets onto the loading screen then it just crashes and closes. My sim lives alone, no job, 5 star celebrity status. Playing on PC windows 7. I cannot get though to EA at this time. Any suggestions? I had an update through Origin 2 or 3 days ago.
