No trigger vibration on Xbox one controller

Product: F1 23
Platform:PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
Summarize your bug There is no trigger vibration on my XBOX ONE controller, the standard rumble in the handles works intermittently via wired connection to my computer, no trigger vibration or rumble via bluetooth connection.
What is your 16 digit Report Code? TBHC-ACXS-BDSM-MCDE
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider?
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try playing any mode (I use single player career mostly & Time Trial) with the Xbox One controller vibration settings turned on.
What happens when the bug occurs? Zero vibration from the triggers on the controller, the setting is just completely broken on the game which is unplayable without feedback from the controller. Changing the vibration settings has no effect whatsoever and the rumble effect in the handles rarely works either.
What do you expect to see? Vibration from the triggers on my controller when I'm racing, the game is unplayable without it.

Having no trigger vibration or overall controller rumble is pretty much game breaking in my opinion. The Xbox One controller I'm using works fine with other games (including F1 22) so I don't understand how this can be such an issue for this years version.

  • Not sure if you have just trigger vibration lacking or all vibration lacking.

For all vibration lacking, I found a workaround, on pc. I shut down the controller during game untill I get a message from the game that no controller is detected. Then (IMPORTANT) Press keys on my keyboard untill the message goes away. Then reconnect/enable controller again after doing that. And then all controller vibration returns in game and work as suppose to.

No idea why, but this happens everytime and it works everytime.

@ivun3 Thanks, I saw you post this workaround in your thread and have been testing it out myself. I'm happy to say that it does indeed seem to work.

Hopefully the devs implement a proper fix soon for everybody!
