Not a bug but it is a forgotten and over looked feature, I've put in about 3 hours so far and have jumped from sequential to h pattern about half a dozen times and I think I've forgotten to change the transmission option all but the first time, please reintroduce this missing feature

Yes I fully agree. I love switching between new and old cars and I have sequential shifter and H-pattern on my rig. Was super nice in DR2.0 to not have to switch settings.
The fact you have to choose a specific global setting of one or the other which is completely separate to the car you choose is a terrible implementation.
Basically everyone that has an H shifter will also have paddles, so there should be be a setting where you can use either, and instead of having to choose one, and you can just select which is more appropriate to the car. An extension of that is that it auto selects the right one for each car
Miss the same option. Want to use manual with clutch, sequential with stick or sequential with paddles depending on what system the actual car uses.
Would also be nice if it was shown which type the car has before start of the stage so we can shift around before the start.
