Racenet app occasionally refuses to load

Sometimes when I open racenet it will hang at the landing page and the loading wheel will constantly reset to the top.

Force quitting the app doesn't appear to fix it but when I toggled my wifi connection off/on it worked again. Meanwhile it was working on my PC the whole time.

I'm on Android but I have seen some other people on iOS mention similar issues which makes me think it might be a racenet issue rather than android.
