Wheel disconnects in the middle of the race

Summarize your bug The wheel got disconnected at the grid start before starting the race. This used to happen also on F23 and then it got fixed after an EA patch. So it is happening again on F24 and needs to be corrected. I has happened multiple times at different stages. Sometime even at the settings menus. Very frustrating.

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? At different points of the game. For this last one I was in Driver Career mode. Japan. Finished FP. Finished Short Qualy. At the grid before starting the race. See attached video
What happens when the bug occurs? The wheel gets disconnected and I have to use the keyboard to kill the game and then start it again. This will be a very bad thing if it happens while on a league race as you pretty much will not be able to re-join the race.
What do you expect to see? For the wheel to remain connected for the entire time of the game. That's what it supposed to do.
