Legend Idea: Psycher (Yes it's drawn from Warhammer 40k: Astartes)
Passive: Psych Shield
- While weapons stowed or unarmed, you have a shield that has decent HP and rapidly regenerates, making it nearly impenetrable.
- Melee ignores the shield.
- Grenades and explosions are blocked by the shield, but frags can be rolled under it and thermites landing on the ground go beneath it. Arc stars cleverly cast can lead a shielded target right on top of them. These will still hit, as it's basically just a miniature gibby dome downsized to one person.
- You can use powers while shielded.
- Beware Silence, bye bye shield.
- If the shield is somehow cracked, it takes 10 seconds to recharge.
Tactical: Hold
- Equip Power
- Has 2 cast types
- Primary fire trigger does a single target hold, slowing the target and timers by over 90%-99%, essentially freezing them in place. Can slow deployments when used on deployables, and slows timers and movements. Can be used on ordinance and most traps. Cannot be used on fences. Bullets are too fast and cannot be caught by this specific effect.
- Alt Fire (aka Aim Trigger) casts a field in a cone, slowing everything in it by a lesser degree, by 50%-75%. Can slow bullets, which take 1-2 seconds to pass through the field. Still almost immobilizes targets, but is more evident they can move.
- I don't have to mention this requires line of sight, and can still be cast through windows because line of sight exists through windows.
Ultimate: Shockwave
- Original intention was an ability that vaporizes targets, but some might claim that as overpowered, so I've watered it down.
- Line of sight effect, stopped by windows as if they are walls, cast similar to Seer's tactical.
- Deals 100 damage, vaporizing anyone it knocks or kills. Denies the target from being downed by it basically, and instantly kills anyone it would have knocked.
- Pushes back enemies and ordinance, and destroys placements and doors caught in the blast.
- Knockdown shields take double damage and if they survive, protect everyone behind them as if they were a wall. Likewise for NewCastle's Mobile Shield, may require his increased HP upgrade. The knockdown shield or revive shield must be facing the caster, or it will get thrown by the ability. Likewise would kill the knocked one who failed to block it.
