Re: can't find hermit's hideaway in Outdoor Retreat
@georgeandjudycas , when you rent a campsite in Granite Falls, if you go to the Map , in the North East corner (like @x4m1r4 stated) there is a "park" or venue called Granite Falls National Park. Have your Sims travel there. Once you are there, there will be a an area that is covered in trees, and is in a valley with a waterfall . In the middle will be a sort of cabin that is kind of like a visitor's center (you can't sleep there). and some public restrooms nearby. On the part of this area that is opposite from the water falls there is a bit of a trail that is rather hard to see because of all the trees. you will come to a long log that has fallen.. just beyond that in the rock face there is an opening covered in brambles or vines. This is where you need to go. One tip off that you might be near this opening is that there is a NPC spawn point nearby (though I saw at least one other one not near here too). Here are some pictures that might help, though I went in Winter at night! 😅

Not the best picture, but you can see the long log in the bottom right corner next to my Sim's needs. The opening with brambles is just beyond this.
Next to the Sim's needs, you can see a NPC Sim who spawned . In the middle at the top you can see the wooden structure covered in vines/brambles with the opening to the area where the Hermit lives!

Once you find the area where the Hermit lives, there will be no mistaking the Hermit's cabin. The Hermite might be female or male, as it is random. In this particular save game file, my Hermit is female.
