Re: Digital Deluxe Upgrade - No longer on sale?

@Pak_Bebek you can still buy it if you look around. The upgrade can be purchased separately but it depends what platform you play on, PC/PS/Xbox. I've also seen the full disc available for sale. I'd maybe contact a reputable retailer to find out how to get the version for your platform.

I bought it 3 times before it went free 🤦. I have the disc, the download (when I used to have a download console only) and I bought it as a gift.

But, I confess I have never used the hot dog costume!

    @simsplayer818 Hmm.. I never bothered with buying the Deluxe version, I just have the standard base game version, but I do have the Hot Dog costume. I just checked. Wonder if it also came with some EP or Kit or with a game update?

    Wonder if you cannot get it if you download a sim from the Gallery with all CAS unlocked? I have a few such sims on my Gallery page, but you can just search for CAS unlocked in the Gallery and grab one sim from there. You don't have a keep the sim or play it. Just add the sim in CAS to your family, then promptly delete the unwanted sim, and now your own sim with have all CAS unlocked.

    Wonder if this is a bug? If so, don't tell them, because we don't want it fixed. LOL

    @BylineBelife Do you also have the Awesome Animal Hats and the Tiki bar? Those are supposed to be only with the deluxe version as well.

    Just checked, and yes, I have the Flaming Tiki Bar and I have some hats with animal prints. All says it's base game.
    However, I'm sure I don't have Digital Delux, just the regular version.

    @BylineBelife on my list of add-ons the Awesome Animal Hats and Life of the Party are listed separately but they contain those items so it's a puzzle.
    I don't really use them, the animal hats are a bit of a strange shape I find. They look like bike helmets lol.
    To me, they belong in the base game anyway rather than paying more for them.

    Wonder if they can hide behind one of these instances?

    As an ancient creator and webmaster of The Sims 1 and 2, some still remember me from the early days, and I to this day, (though nowadays more rarely), receive random stuff either on the Origin/EA App, on Steam or gift cards on Amazon.
