Re: How do I gift an expansion pack to my daughter?
@davewhitlow Gifting isn't possible this way. What you've actually done is buy the packs on your own account, and there's no way for you to move them to your daughter's account. EA customer support may be able to do this for you though—sometimes a support rep will help as a one-time exception to the rule against transferring content, particularly when it's clear that the parent was trying to buy content for the child. Or perhaps a support rep could issue you a refund if you don't play the game and didn't intend to use the content.
I would strongly suggest using live chat rather than email support. If you don't see the option, try this link:
Make sure you're signed into an EA site (this one is fine) before clicking the link and that the location in the lower-right corner of the browser window is set to U.S. or U.K.
The EA App doesn't support this kind of gifting. Origin does, but child accounts can't accept gifts. I believe teen accounts can but am not completely sure. The only official way to add content to a child account is to buy a third-party code and register it in the account. This is obviously not optimal, but EA hasn't offered any other options.
