All players have their traits set to NO in franchise even though they are on in the main menu when you check rosters.
if you try to turn them ON in the edit player function within franchise it doesn’t save and defaults to OFF.
After looking into this I believe it to be a cosmetic bug. Even though the traits are set to NO on the player screen within franchise they have the traits activated on the player card. (and are set to YES in the main menu roster section). You can toggle traits on and off in the edit player screen within franchise and the traits will appear / disappear on the player card, however in the edit player screen it always says NO.
i think they are ON (yes) but the edit screen menu is broken and shows No no matter when setting you have if that makes sense.
No it isn’t because my defensive players aren’t acting aggressive when trying to catch interceptions
This bug makes me not want to play. Feels too game altering not being able to rush the QB effectively when that's what my defense is built around. Hopefully we get an update on resolution or fix soon so I can start playing the game again.
100% not working. It's not cosmetic. They do not work. I've played madden for years since it came out. The power moves do NOT work. Do the practice drills. I know what they are supposed to do. I cannot club players out of the way line I always have. This needs to be fixed and I cannot believe it's been line this for weeks! Ridiculous. Fix this issue at once. This is insane. People pay a ton of money and this is a very simple bug you are ignoring.
It's Monday 9/16 and no response. Had anyone from EA even responded to this? It's there another way to get on touch and report this issue where someone will hear it? This issue is very frustrating and like others it's making me not enjoy the game. This is a very easy issue to fix from a programming side. Please respond. Unacceptable.
I haven't seen any response. I load into franchise to check every couple days just incase.

@EA_Blueberry any updates on this? I get Franchise is the red headed step child but a whole portion of the game is pretty broken.
9/25 and not a single peep. I don't think anyone at EA is even looking at this. Going to try calling or something.

So are you gonna fix it and make franchise mode playable this year?
Franchise should play like quick play games, they feel totally different right now. Quick play is so much better, but I want to start a franchise already!!!

From a programming point of view is very easy. They posted this as a complete thing a week ago saying they were looking into it. I'm not convinced they are doing anything. This isn't a hard thing to fix.

Have just stopped playing completely because of this issue. Would like to get back to my franchise at some point.
I checked and it looks fixed after today's update, but I'm still seeing issues with club and swim moves. I can't even produce a club move in franchise and swim moves are acting real suspect. For example I'll do a swim move and it goes the in the opposite direction a lot of times. It just feels way way way different then when the game was first released. I might have to make a video and post it here.
