Madden 16 rating drops during offline franchise

So I've noticed over the course of the past few months that while playing a franchise offline that certain skill ratings will continuously drop no matter how well you perform. Every week or two, my starting halfback will take a hit in ball carrier vision and awareness. This is certainly a hassle.

I've also noticed that I can break records, win awards and super bowls, and still quarterback Blake Bortles will lose around 10 awareness points at the end of the year. What's up with that? I'd also like to point out that he along with Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns have had great years and deserve more than just a normal development trait. Thank you.
