@Joeiverson Online services for Madden NFL 15 have been shut down.
https://www.ea.com/service-updates/i-q
Have you reached out to our Support team on Twitter yet (EA Help) to see if they're able to identify if there is a reason you're not able to connect to those servers via the account side? Problem solved.
I applied the "minecraft" solution (which I usually apply when Minecraft fails to connect to the server after an update).
Step 1: Shut down my PlayStation and then turn on (not just restart)
Step 2: delete Madden 2017 (only the game, not the save data!)
Step 3: insert the dvd of Madden and download latest update
Step 4: Start Madden and..... Problem solved!
Thank you!

@Joeiverson
Excited to hear that!!! Thank you very much for coming back to share what worked for you so others here can try it.
Can anyone else confirm this works?
For power cycling (not just a restart) try these steps:How to power cycle your PS4 console
- Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
How to power cycle your Xbox console:
- Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
- Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply
- @EA_Blueberry I just tried what @Joeiverson did. Didn't see anything in there about a power cycle so I didn't do that but it still didn't work. Even after uninstalling the game, powering off my PS4, and reinstalling the game, it still says I can't connect to servers. Many are having this problem.
It is really important that you shut down the PlayStation (even holding the PS button on joypad then selecting option: turn off) then turn on the PlayStation (again with PS button on joypad).
It sounds "stupid", but if you do not turn off/on and just restart it will continue to do not connect even after re install (it happens to me with Minecraft and Madden).
@EA_Blueberry I tried it a second time, and it sort of worked, but then it didn't work. I was able to open my franchise and get in to the menus, but got the same error message repeatedly. Then I turned my PS4 off and turned it back on and went into the game. Once again, I get the same error message that I can't connect to the EA servers and now I cannot log into my franchise.

@BareassBabooN Can you try removing the internet network you have linked to your console and re-add it? Visit our Help site at Help.EA.com and reset your password. Then load the game back up. I've seen this trick work before.
It seems like this is connected somehow to the console/network. - @EA_Blueberry I'm not sure what you mean. My PS4 is connected via Ethernet to a modem. I remember resetting my EA password once before and it didn't fix the issue.

@BareassBabooN I implied removing the actual network login you have on your console and re-add it. Do you have a WiFi connection you can log into to see if it connects wirelessly?
Have you tried a different DNS? We see players successfully login to our servers when switching DNS providers. It may work for some and not all. We have a variety of steps in this article below:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/ - @EA_Blueberry I don't understand, do you mean my reset my EA login or my PSN login? I've tried different DNS servers...also tried port forwarding but if there are specific DNS servers that are known to work then I'm willing to try that. Every other game and PSN feature works fine.
- @EA_Blueberry Also, I think it's worth mentioning that this started happening for everyone exactly when the new Madden came out

@BareassBabooN Sorry I wasn't clear, reset your password for your EA account. Have done all of the suggested methods. None work and am unable to load my Connected Franchise. I am the only user on it. I didn't realize it would be such a huge mistake down the road.
I was 25 years into my Franchise. I suppose it is all just gone now and will never be played again.
I had zero issues until the new Madden came out and this issue appeared. I can connect to EA servers and see players online for H2H, but it will not load my Cloud saved franchise. The game freezes on load screen or suddenly fails to find EA servers.
- @HBKalEl Suddenly mine works today. Still says cannot connect on the load screen but I was able to get into my franchise and play a game. Who knows how long it will last though. I did the old uninstall and reinstall
@EA_Blueberry I spoke too soon. The servers crapped out on me right after the game ended and it didn't save. All that for nothing...
same here played two games for nothing at the end it says servers unavailable and it didn't save my games.
- @EA_Blueberry please let the team know Madden 17 needs to be sorted out. If it's not on the list of retirees (which it isn't, thankfully) then MUT and cloud franchises should be up and functional! On Xbox you can still buy MUT coins but can't use them for nothing because nobody can play any other mode than head to head, currently.
I've checked daily since Nov 17th. Fourth day in a row, servers down error. Madden 18 works perfectly fine, mind you. I booted it up just to make sure my account privileges, wi-fi etc. all are a-ok.
