Re: How to make mass effect 3 wont fit my screen

@lodoggzz Can i check what system you're on? If you're on console perhaps try running your TV's resolution/screenspace setup again?

I have this same issue on Xbox One S. It's not the TV it's the game that has this problem. Mass Effect 1 and 2 work perfectly fine they have some bugs but I can play them. Mass Effect 3 cannot be played, I have to ignore it until a patch is made. What's wrong is it's all crunched up it's not just it's not fitting the screen it feels too zoomed in. I cant even get into the action because the camera is zoomed so close to the back of shepard, and there is no in game adjustments for this. Is there any word of a new patch for this? Or is mass effect 3 just not playable? My 360 copy works fine for mass effect 3 it's just the legendary edition that's broken.

    Hello,

I’m in the same situation but on the PS4 version. Just finished ME2 and when starting ME3 the dialogue wheel is cut off at the bottom. It’s not the tv or PS4 it’s the game, it completely cuts half of the bottom dialogue choices.

Hopefully there’s a patch coming in the future to help fix this issue. For some reason it’s only on ME3, ME1 and ME2 is completely fine but ME3 it’s all cropped.

The same happened, with me also on ps4.. just finished "suicide mission" on ME2 and went straight to ME3 and the bottom of the dialogue wheel is missing half of it... can still kinda tell whats there but everything also seems zoomed in... hope they release a patch for this as its not game breaking... just really irritating

Agreed, it’s more of an annoyance as the first two games were completely fine.

Fingers crossed that it gets fixed soon

I'm having a very similar problem on my Series X. ME3 is zoomed in more than 1 and 2, but it's not quite cutting off the dialogue tree. The tops of everyone's head in cutscenes is cut off and the UI is right up against the top and bottom of my TV.

  • Hey!

I play on ps4 pro just like the others with this problem, I did want you asked but it didn’t help.☹️

Can you maybe tell the developers that there is a problem so that they can patch it?

  • I have this problem on a vanilla ps4. I tried adjusting both my TV screen settings and my PlayStation screen size, but the format remains cut off. Only Mass Effect 3 has this problem in the Legendary Edition. Mass Effect 1 and 2 were fine.

Happening to me as well on Xbox One X. This is a pretty annoying bug that should have been addressed in yesterday's patch.

I also have the same issue on PS4. ME1 and ME2 were perfectly fine.Dialogue wheel, action tool tips (highlighted object or door prompts), power wheel and descriptions. I haven't caught a picture of it, but also all cinematics and conversations are zoomed in too far, sometimes to the point where both characters talking aren't visible at all. It's not the worst thing in the world, but its distracting and can take me out, especially since the remaster up to this point has been amazing. Not being able to see characters that are talking, or completely read all of the dialogue options is weird too, since dialogue is such an integral aspect of the game.

  • Has anyone responded to the Mass Effect 3 screen ratio bug? This is a game issue that should be fixed or at least addressed and I haven't found a single response acknowledging this is an actual issue.
