Re: Citadel DLC Glitch Can't Invite

@Shaftell wrote:

Hi everyone

So I've finished the mission for the Citadel dlc and started roaming around. As soon as the mission finished I went to the private terminal and met up with all those who had sent requests at that time(I believe it was Javik,Tali,EDI, Traynor, and someone else). Anyways, I met up with those people, went and played in the arena then came back to my terminal expecting more requests to hang out from the rest of my crew. But I did not get any invites. I left the area, came back, and still nothing. Played a little more in the arena, went to other parts of the citadel, and then came back and still no other invites. I've checked on Youtube and I'm missing out on a whole bunch of cut scenes with my people. The only two people I know I'm missing out on are Miranda and Kasumi(did Citadel before Sanctuary and didn't do Kasumi's mission).

I haven't bought the party supplies yet either because I did my reading and people said I should meet up with everyone then do the party. Problem is no one is sending me requests to meet up. I made a save, did the party(managing to invite everyone) and finished but still no invites from anyone.

I don't know if this is a major glitch or something but I'm hoping someone else was in the same boat as me and can help me out.

Thanks everyone! 🙂

Hi shaftell,

It's been a while since I played the Citadel DLC ( am not an official game advisor, just a fellow gamer) but I remember that there were two sets of invitations. Some of the invitations are received at the Apartment in the terminal close to the kitchen-I think and only after you throw the party. The other set of invitations are received at the Normandy, once you return to it and read your private terminal, near Traynor, or go to the one in your private cabin.

I also remember that the invitations were dependent on whether you had spoken to the various characters pre-party and post party as well as having imported an ME2 save ( where all 12 members survived the Suicide Mission.)

That's just about all I can share with you except for one more thing: you can continue playing the Citadel DLC's minigames( missions) all you want even after throwing the party of all parties, and even going back to the Normandy. Just don't choose to go to Chronos once you do go back to the Normandy.

If you choose to go Chronos, then the game continues to its final ending mission.

Good luck to you

  • Thanks for replying.I tried going back on Normandy and checking the private terminal but nothing. I've tried every thing I've read online but nothing is working. Good thing I made a save before starting the dlc. Has anyone ever encountered this glitch before?

    Hi shaftell,

You are welcome, I'm just disappointed I was not able to assist you better. Also since you mention that you have done everything you've read online and still have this problem, what I can suggest is to go to social.bioware.com and see if someone there can give you better leads or even a solution. Another site that might have answers is help.ea.com

If you go to help.ea.com click on CONTACT US to get a Game Advisor's perspective.

One last suggestion is for you to go to other gaming sites like ign.com, gamefaqs.com, and gamespot.com to see if their members have come up with the same issue and offer solutions.

Thanks for posting and good luck to you.

  • I appreciate you taking the time to reply. Unfortunately even after loading ny previous save file I run into the same problem. I will check out those sites you posted and hopefully find a solution. Thanks again!

EDIT: Hmm, so I went and did Priority:Thessia and after the mission  I got invites from Jack and others on the Normandy at my private terminal. So it seems that solved the problem. Hopefully others that had the same issue as me read this!
