Re: glitchy, melting werewolf human forms?

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

  • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
  • Tray Folder
  • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
  • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
  • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
  • ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
  • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    @crinrict I tested it on the new game file after repairing, and the new game file, and Lou, as well as lord Lycan are still weird human melted werewolves. There's no CC or anything, so IT has to be a bug of some kind. I have the characters on my gallery, so I can just add them in again if I need to.

    I mean I can just save the developed sims to my gallery, or add them back in, because on the test file, they seemed to be okay, with less noticeable glitches/bugs/Only on certain werewolves.

    @KingPluto97 Did you remove your mods/cc before or after he got the gift ? It is possible that removing doesn't solve the issue.

    i'll check out the Sim later to see if there's a way to unbug him.

    EDIT: I can't find the Sim in your gallery ? There's only a family with a Sim looking the same but he's not a werewolf yet.

    That's strange. I'll have him bitten and add him to the gallery. Lou is still weird, but I can't replace him or the Lore for Moonwood Mill would break or something according to the Gurus, the game would just spawn in a random.

    @KingPluto97 Can you reupload him ? Do you see him in your gallery ? Could you maybe post a gallery picture ?

    @crinrict So I found out that even with No CC in my game at all, some of my sims are still flagged as Custom Content, and Lord Lycan is one of them, but he's base game, Vampires and Get together compatible with no CC.

    @crinrict No, I have no custom sliders or cas background installed or in my Mods folder at all, it's mostly build buy items.

    I'm not sure what caused this to happen, but I played a no CC game after putting my save files back in, and it doesn't seem to be making the werewolves weird anymore. Maybe it was a hotfix from one of the Delivery express packages?

    I’m having this same issue- never had this happen before. I have a ton of mods so it’ll be hard to remove them out of the sims 4 folder due to limited space on my storage. I tried repairing the game but it didn’t work. The glitch goes away when the sim is in the toddler life state but comes back when change him back to a teen in CAS. When aging the toddler into a child in live mode, the child looks disfigured. I’ll try the other methods as suggested.
