Re: Game generating all npc sims to wear hats in clubs/gatherings

Hi @playeranubis7 

Try the following

  • Close the game
  • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
  • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
  • Start a new save game
  • Check if you still have the error
  • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

    Hi I have since found that only certain gatherings and locations are affected, went to Nawall arms in windenburg all npc wearing hats and also in Windenburg, yet went to pan eoropa nightclub, all hats were gone, plus all hats gone in oasis springs, game generates hats not all the time it seems, i have removed the cc hats being generated, will see what happens, its just I dont want to loose anything, if you can give me steps to put everything back, i can then try if last did not work

    @playeranubis7 You won't loose anything if you test a backup which you are doing when you're renaming your folder. Did you remove ALL your cc/mods and it still happens or just the cc hats ?
