Re: Stuck in press spacebar but...

@ChocolateKoster

It is quite likely you need to setup a GPU profile so your discrete video card is used rather than your Intel HD graphics hardware:

Try that and let us know how you get on here, thanks.

    Please excuse me, that link is now obsolete.

    Your machine may be defaulting to your Intel video processing on your CPU rather than your nvidia card.

    1. Open the nvidia Control Panel
    2. Click Manage 3D settings
    3. Click the Program Settings tab
    4. Click the Add button
    5. Select the game from the list or click browse and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Need for Speed\NFS16.exe
    6. Select NFS16.exe and then Open
    7. Customise individual settings if you like
    8. Exit nvidia control panel and try playing.

    Please try this and let us know if you are good to go. Thanks.

    Here's the DXDiag 🙂 As far as i know, dxdiag never shows laptop's video card 😉 The computer was plugged into external monitor (1920x1080) but game won't start in 1366x768 as well.

    I recently updated my GPU drivers, and now it says sth like " you cant remove your grapic card, gtx950M is unremovable" , so i suppose that it tries to remove my graphic card now :P

    Can you download the following driver package: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/119401/en-us

    Run the installer and choose custom/advanced install and then when you see the option, choose Clean Install.

    Deselect he optional components such as the 3D and GeForce Experience items and complete the installation.

    Go through the previously posted steps to set the GTX 950M as the default for this game and let us know again how you get on, thanks.

    The newest driver is causing an error and it turns off my video card whenever i try to play ANY game :/ Do you think that older driver (but newer than the one before) could work? Or i have to do something else?

    @ChocolateKoster

    Can you clarify what you mean when you say playing games turns off your video card please?

    It is possible that using older drivers may help, doing that will not damage your hardware so is worth trying.
