Can you try restarting the system from the power menu and see if that changes anything?

So far I dont have any other ea games on the ps4, I have played other games online and they work perfectly fine. Ive tried to restart it from the power menu and still get the same error codes. Usually its an error code dr1001, dr1005, or its 80550018. It keeps showing a message that i get kicked from the server

Are you playing on your own private network? If so, please try power cycling the router itself. If you can connect with a wire rather than wifi, that will also remove a potential problem source.
I don't think it's an account issue, but you can test for this if you have someone try to connect to the game with a different account. Whether this fails or not should be helpful in getting to the bottom of this.
check your network internet connection in your PS4 settings. Your MTU should be above 1200 to 1500. I had the same as my MTU was set below 1100. You can make this change in manual connection settings instead of easy use Custom.

I'm having the same issue as well except my error code is DR1001 and I have reset my router tried a cable instead. Then I bought EA access to see if that would help the situation. It was be nice if I someone could us out with this situation.
i have the same problem ranked speed list dont work at all dr1001 code every time i try to play online did also did the stuped portforwing crap and still dont work on xbox one
Do u have a friend that can login to ur account and Try to see if that’s a problem?! Lol unreal that u would call this whole system support. This is so bad, a pathetic company with poor effort this is a server error no doubt and u dare to tell people false information and send them on a goose chase when the error is a ea server issue same error code since battlefield 4 lol
Hi, When i attempt to go and on-line mode in need for speed heat i get error code 80550018 and i have power cycled my router and tested internet conncection and nothing helps. it says i need to sign into my ea account and to check connection but i don't know what ells i could do to fix this issue.
I'm also having the same problem. I was starting up Need For Speed Heat and then all of a sudden a connection error occurs giving the code 80550018. I tried setting my MTU Manually to 1500, but no dice.
