Same issue here on PS5 while in BAP.

Simulate to next shift, sounds start to fade out and it sits and perpetually spins in "simulating".

Same. Also playing NJD, first season BAP, and it has gotten stuck like this many times the last days, and I have to re-play the game after a restart.

The same game got stuck 3 times in a row now so I stopped to google and found this thread.

Can confirm the VIDEO is working. The game? Never. 

I’ve had the issue happen twice in BAP, in the same game. I force quit the game, restarted, and it happened again. Both times it occurred immediately after the captain of my team got a penalty.

Exact the same Problem, expect in my case with PS5. Occurrence every second or third game. Sometimes the game also crash during loading the saved game  after startup of the PS 5, and yes with different savings tried. Before the last patch the game worked better, but also with game crashes. Wasted many time and point and it’s very frustrating. Never had problems with previous NHL versions. 

Still happening here too on Xbox series X. I’ve had to restart the same match 3 times so far. Always crash about the halfway through the first period. Very frustrating as I don’t wanna simulate the match as I’m on a winning streak. 

So has there been a solution to this issue? It keeps happening to me and is extremely frustrating. I can't finish a game! What's the point of selling a product that doesn't work???
