Re: Be a pro classic

I appreciate you responding to the post, but unfortunately you saying that “You can’t make manual line changes in Be A Pro” that’s actually incorrect. I’ve been playing Be A Pro ever since NHL 12, and every single year up until NHL 20, I’ve been able to make my guy go out on the ice whenever I want him to, no problem. In fact, if you make the “BE A PRO SETTING” set on “CLASSIC” instead of “AUTHENTIC” and play in a game with SKILL STICK controls, making my pro go out on the ice whenever I want him to works perfectly fine and this bug isn’t a problem. It’s only a problem when you try to play be a pro on HYBRID because in order to line change on HYBRID controls, you have to hold down R2 and then press circle or square to line change. Except in be a pro, ON HYBRID, when you press and hold R2, it brings up the COACHES FEEDBACK menu and totally ignores the fact that you’re trying to make a line change for your pro. Like I said in my previous post, NHL 19 didn’t have this problem at all, even when I personally am playing on HYBRID controls, so I just don’t really understand what happened from last year to this year to make this bug such a problem in this game mode.

Awesome! Thank you so much! Side note: from a gameplay perspective, NHL 20 is without a doubt the best feeling NHL game I’ve ever played, and that’s the same thing I said about last years game when you debuted RPM Tech. The refinements you guys made for NHL 20 are honestly perfect👌🏻

Quick question for you. Are you aware you can sim to next shift? This seems to make more sense than changing lines and putting yours in all the time. That just leads to you and your linemates being fatigued and lowering your abilities.

I’m definitely aware of that, and I know that most people who play Be A Pro don’t play it the way I do. So to answer your question, yes I am aware of simming to the next shift, and personally, I don’t like that in Be A Pro. I like giving my pro as much playing time as possible, especially when you tweak the games sliders and settings the way I do to make my Be A Pro an enjoyable experience for myself.

Not a problem! I just hope this bug gets taken care of soon, I’ve been really wanting to play Be A Pro recently....

Has the Dev Team responded yet? The bug is still in the game as of today....

Unfortunately, I don't have any news on this. I really don't know if/when it will be addressed. Is it possible to try using the skill stick controls instead?

It’s possible, but that’s really frustrating how I have to change the way I play the game because of a bug that isn’t being addressed. That’s unfortunate to say the least.

I definitely understand the frustration with this. It's just an option if you don't want to wait for a resolution to be issued.
