Does it still happen after a hard restart of your console? If you switch to another control scheme, do those buttons still not work? If you switch to another control scheme and play for a moment, then switch back to Hybrid, is it still occurring? Thanks!
None of those things fix the issue. I have done a hard restart. Switched to stick and 94 controls and then back to hybrid and it does not resollve the issue.
Every once in a while I hit a button during a game and it might work once, but then it stops the next time I get the puck and never works again.
Hybrid controls work fine in say practice mode, but not in online games.
Community ManagerHave you also tried a different controller? I just want to rule out any issues with the controller since I'm not seeing other reports of this so far.
Yes. Multiple controllers do not work.
I have seen this same issue in various iterations of NHL all over the internet people complaining of this same issue. Many of these complaints are on this website.
How us this a new complaint? It appears that people have been complaining about this same issue for years.
Community ManagerI'll keep an eye out for other reports of this. If you know of any, feel free to provide a link to them. That would help with the investigation. For now, the best I can advise is to switch to a different control scheme. Have you also tried reinstalling the game?
Community ManagerI believe those are different issues than what you're experiencing. If I'm understanding you right, those buttons no longer register when you hit them so nothing is happening. Is that correct? Also, have you tried deleting the game and reinstalling it?
Sounds like same problem. Will I loae all my progress if I reinstall?
Community ManagerYour buttons stop working. The other reports were about menus coming up instead of performing the actions those buttons are supposed to.
If you're playing an offline mode, it's possible your progress could be lost, but in most cases it should be downloaded from the cloud. I just can't guarantee it.

Community ManagerI see that, but they didn't go into detail too much. Others were saying it's bringing up the line change menu. Regardless, try this. On your console, go to Settings/Storage/System storage/Saved Data > NHL 22. Delete the saved data here. You may lose offline saves as well as your settings. In most cases, they are downloaded from the cloud, but I can't guarantee that.
That did nothing to fix the iasue.

Community ManagerUnfortunately, I'm out of ideas. If you change your mind, let me know. You won't lose progress in HUT or EASHL. You should be able to download your offline progress from the cloud, but I'm not going to guarantee that.
