it’s only wifi but I could try to see if I could connect my ps4 to my wifi box thing, but it is under my house and my room is a decent distance away from it but I could see if I could possibly be able to find a cord long enough to connect. But if not I’ll see if I could temporarily use a tv closer in my living room since it’s closer for this time but if not idk what else could be the problem since I don’t experience any problems on other online games I play hopefully it’s just connection problems

Have you tried setting a different DNS on your PlayStation to see if that helps? I've seen some cases where using a different DNS can do the trick in similar situations. To change the DNS on your console follow the steps below:
1. Open up your PS4 Settings and select Network
2. Choose Set Up Internet Connection
3. Select WiFi
4. Select IP Address Settings (automatic)
5. Choose DHCP Host Name (Do Not Use)
6. Select DNS Settings (Manual)
7. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but if there's a different DNS you would rather use instead that's OK as well.
8. Select Next, then MTU Settings.
9. Choose Proxy Server (Do Not Use)
10. Select Test Internet Connection
