Beacon Scan not working with Crypto's Drone

Product: Apex Legends
Platform:PC

Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Crypto
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)? Lifeline
Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. No name base between City and Geyser where you can find a ring beacon occasionally
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. trying to find the next ring with Crypto's Drone
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 3 to 4
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 8/24/20 23:00 PST
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? The beacon scan alert noise goes off but the scan doesn't recognize that you just used the beacon thus not giving you the next ring location. It doesn't matter how many times you use the beacon the issue will repeat without fail if it has already occurred and this includes further ring progression as I tried a second time during the next ring and it still didn't put the beacon on cool down until the next ring.
What should be happening instead? I should use the beacon with my drone and set of an alert and get the next rings location.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I noticed the issue around the third to last ring closure and I specifically was using Crypto's drone Hack to instantly scan the beacon that was just outside the ring.

Using a ring beacon with Crypto's drone didn't give the next ring location or put the beacon on cool down.

    I've not heard this before. If you happen to come across it again, could you please try and get a video?

    That can greatly increase the dev attention to fix the issue!

    How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
    How severe is your issue? Minor impact to gameplay
    What happens when the bug occurs? When using Crypto's drone to activate a survey beacon, the noise sounds and the prompt triggers, but it doesn't show the ring on the map. This doesn't happen when I use Crypto on PS4
    What should be happening instead? It should show the next ring on the map
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to use a survey beacon as Crypto on Xbox

    I can't use survey beacons as Crypto on Xbox. I get the prompt, the drone sound, and it shows that I've activated the button, but the next ring does not appear on the map.

    @DYSPROssium I have noticed that it will occasionally work if I face the drone towards the actual face plate on the beacon the scan with go off and I can use the beacon physically as Crypto. Next time the glitch occurs I will try to clip it before someone runs half a magazine through my health bar lmao.

    You can see it happen in 2 separate drone sessions here 1 after the other here. Uploading both.

    Note - This was on a tournament server.

    Update - Ok I tried uploading the vids like 10 times, I cbf anymore. Message me with a better way to upload them and I can give you the proof.
