Black screen on Linux/Steam Deck
Linux/Steam Deck show a black screen at launch, not displaying any loading animation or logo videos. Tested with DX11 and DX12 on Proton Experimental, 9 (Beta) and 8.

after the latest update the game doesn't start, black screen.. please fix it

What happens when the bug occurs? I try launching the game and after the intro vdo play. The game stuck blackscreen
What should be happening instead? Should launching the game and the apex loading logo should come up

Previously everything worked finehttps://steamcommunity.com/app/1172470/discussions/0/4290313152622384494/ That is a temporary fix until they patch whatever they did to break base proton support for anyone who needs it.
Same here , why does this game seem to be constantly broken on steam deck
Apex Legends doesn't boot up on the SteamDeck since yesterday.
I was fine for over a month.
I've re-booted the SteamDeck, deleted proton files, forced Steam compatibility tool, and re-installed the game. It still doesn't work.This one helps! Thanks
