I can't be sure but I doubt he is. I don't even think he's touched his ea account beyond doing whatever was necessary to add me as a cross play friend.
- @EA_Kent Also I want to be clear. Neither me (on PC) or my other friend (also ps4) can invite him. Even if my other ps4 friend invites JUST him and not me he can NOT join.

Hmm, that's really strange.
If it happens with other people when they try to invite this same friend, there might be something going on with his account that isn't allowing the invites to come through. I think it would be best to have your friend try reaching out to the EA Help team so they can pull up his account and take a look.
