Compounding Ram Usage issue... More ram used each game until restart required.

Product: Apex Legends
Platform:PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
AMD or Nvidia Model Number MB: Crosshair 6 Hero CPU: Ryzen 1700x GPU: 2x GTX1070 SLI RAM: 16gb SSD
Enter RAM memory size in GB 16GB
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? JASHIKO
Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible.
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)?
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Anytime in game
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Playing
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? From the second match onwards
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Major issues with a memory leak of some sort since the last patch. Each game I play the RAM usage seems to creep up slowly. First 20%, 25%, 34%, etc until it eventually reaches about 70ish% then becomes unplayable and requires the game to be closed and restarted. The issue is strictly limited to Apex Legends and this patch. The original release patch didn't seem to have this issue. At least that I noticed. MB: Crosshair 6 Hero CPU: Ryzen 1700x GPU: 2xGTX1070 SLI RAM: 16gb SSD
What should be happening instead? Ram should stay at the same level of usage constantly.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Seems to be a memory leak. More than that I cannot say.

  • Top image after first game. Bottom Image second game. If i was to add another it would be about 6500mb ram then 7500mb. More ram gets used after each game.

  • Sadly I had to wait for the problem to be resolved via a patch.
I stopped playing for a couple of months and when I came back it was fixed.
The only other thing I can suggest is rolling back your GPU driver versions.
Install DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and remove all your NVIDIA drivers and GeForce Experience, then install a driver that's a few versions older.
